Service | Expertise | Accountability

At Aspire Residential, our aim is to ensure that tenants can safely and comfortably enjoy their homes. When you move into a new property, we recognise that there is a lot to think about such as whether there are any "house rules" under the tenancy agreement, what you are responsible for as a tenant, what your landlord is responsible for, what you should do in an emergency and the like. It can all seem a little overwhelming.

To help our tenants settle into their new homes, we issue a "tenant toolkit" which, not only acts as a useful initial renting guide, but also provides an ongoing reference for critical matters such as electrical and fire safety, emergency management procedures etc. The purpose of the toolkit is to inform tenants of actions they can take to safeguard themselves and their families in their homes and to ensure they understand what is expected of them to protect and safeguard the property they are renting. We ask all tenants to familiarise themselves with the toolkit at the beginning the tenancy and ensure it is kept in a safe place and accessible at all times.

The key elements included in our toolkit are;

1. Getting to know your property - where key utility isolators are, nearest accident and emergency location, ensuring all locks and windows are operating etc

2. Fire safety considerations and procedures

3. Electrical safety tips

4. Emergency contact details and procedures

5. Tenant responsibilities

6. Key things to be considered when you first move into your home

7. Checklist of important documents you should receive as a tenant

Our tenant toolkit has recently been revised to reflect new process and procedures and incorporate updated safety tips and recommendations. All tenants are encouraged to ensure that they read our updated toolkit and raise any questions or concerns that they might have relating to its content and advice.

Please feel free to give us a call with any questions you have. We are here to help.
